As for a less-abstract definition, here are some more basic, and a bit more "mundane" of an answer to the person in question : I have been finding it more and more difficult lately to keep my professional business self and true self separated... why? Because I am not someone who advocates lies as most of society nurses on like mother's milk. I was once in pursuit of a career in the Culinary arts, but after obtaining an Associate's Degree in the art and seeing it get me as far as a grocery store paying top dollar over restaurants, I am rethinking it a bit. Career changes aside, I am not sure what I want to do with my life other than what I currently do outside of work; they say find something you have passion for... so if I can make a living from hanging out, taking pictures of others and having pictures taken of me, martial arts, foreign language, and just enjoying life in general, and possibly cooking gourmet meals for those who would appreciate it, point me in the right direction! Otherwise, who knows, but I am not one to settle for the sake of thinking "no better will come my way", as every day is a new potential for possibility.
As for more about my private life outside of work, I simply am who I am; which to many is quite an acquired taste and one not taken lightly. I am not one to easily like as I am not quick to like the bulk of what general society is in modern times; however I keep an open mind through my reserved, observant nature and take action when necessary even when most closed-minded see me as arrogant or stuck-up just because of how I hold myself or choose rather to take no side but my own in most stuations.
Turn your back, I reciprocate. Offer kindness, I reciprocate. And in initiating such actions, I am more apt to kindness for the open-minded and open-hearted than I am to bitterness; but for those recipients of said bitterness should beware my sharp memory. It takes courage to look past the stone-etched gaze and face an uncertain future; but only in uncertainty is knowledge really gained. May fortune favor the foolish.
If you have questions, ask. I prefer that rather than an intelligent being giving up on something with but a brief assumption. If it is your desire to classify me into a genre or otherwise defining where I fit, then have fun attempting. Assume what you will, but there is only one realistic way to find the truth - to pursue and ask.
